I graduated from BYU in 2008 with a degree in Biology. After graduation I moved to San Jose, CA where I taught at a science summer camp for kids K- 6 during the summers and was a substitute teacher in high school during the school year.
When I had my first daughter in 2010 I stopped working to stay at home with her. I also started back at school and have sinced earned my teaching credential for science grades 7- 12. I will also complete my Master's of Education in March 2014. I have known I want to be a teacher for a long time. My educational passion is science, but I am also creative and passionate about art and design. In time I would like to teach science in middle or high school, but while my children are young I would like to be able to stay at home with them.
I decided to start a preschool program since I wanted to stay at home with my daughter and I knew I had the skills to teach her. I also wanted her to develop the social skills that children learn in a group preschool so I decided to expand the idea and create a preschool group.
